How do I delete my Sensi account?
If you’ve moved to another home, or you don’t have your Sensi thermostat anymore, you may need to delete your Sensi account. After deleting, you will not have access remotely to your thermostat through the Sensi app or Sensi Multiple Thermostat Manager.
Note: Uninstalling the Sensi app does not delete your account.
If you just need to remove a thermostat from your account, you can do that individually for any thermostat through the app.
Deleting my Sensi account
- Open the Sensi app.
- Access your account information menu.
- iOS: Tap the person icon.
- Android: Tap the 3 vertical dots.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Enter your Sensi account password.
- Select the reason you’re deleting your account.
- If you don’t want to specify, you don’t have to.
- Tap Continue.
- Check all the boxes that tell you what access you’re losing.
- Any savings you might be getting from being connected to your utility’s savings program, you will lose.
- You will lose remote control of the thermostat from the app, as well as using geofencing, potentially scheduling based on your Sensi model, and sensor participation.
- You will lose any access you may have through smart home integrations like Alexa and SmartThings.
- You will no longer receive thermostat alerts or usage reports.
- Tap Required. Your account will be deleted, and you will be logged out of the app.
